Veggie Drink

 
 

Here is what I like to use when I create my veggie drinks:

  • Water
  • Veggies
    • Spinach/kale salad
    • Carrots
    • Celery
    • Cucumbers
    • Ginger
    • Basil
    • Mint
  • Fruits
    • Apples
    • Grapes
    • Pears
  • Seeds
    • Chia seeds (optional)

Steps

  1. Add a good amount of water first so that you have something to mix the veggies and fruits with.
  2. Do the salad first, add lots of salad.
  3. Follow up with cut up carrots, celery and cucumbers.
  4. Add other veggies that you like plus ginger
  5. Then end with some fruit for sweetness.
  6. If you want to try chia seeds, soak them in a small container with water. Then after they have become gelatinous, add then separately if your water bottle after you pour your veggie drink into it.

If green veggie juice is new for you then start off with more fruit and go with sweet fruit that tastes sugary. Try strawberries, blueberries and bananas. Do more fruit at first with a bit of salad. Then you get used to the veggies, go more veggies and less fruit. Eventually you want to have mainly veggies with some fruit for sweetness and nutrition.

Save the contents in a large container and store in the refrigerator. Get a large water bottle to pour your juice in. Use your large bottle to drink everything. Water, juice, protein shakes, everything. This way, you will not go for soda cans or other drinks already packaged in a container. Every time you drink something, it will be something that you made in your large bottle.
