I Should Have Grown My Hair Out A Long Time Ago

I never knew that growing out my hair would be this much fun!

Long Hair

I actually don’t know why I never grew my hair out this long before when I was younger. I guess that with my background and upbringing, not that many guys had long hair. The main reason was social acceptance, but I mean I started growing it out for about a year now and nothing happened. I even get compliments so I’m like, “Why don’t I just keep a good thing going and continue to grow it out?” Having long hair, I can see why the ladies like it so much. Long hair is fun. I rock my bandana and beanies because I love the look of them with long hair. I think that long hair fits my personality and style so I just run with it as it flows into the wind. I like the feeling on long hair running along my neck. This feels really good, like someone is rubbing your neck or back. Who knew that growing out my hair would be so fun and I would get so into it. I have a special way of conditioning my hair and keeping it nice, soft and free of tangles. The maintenance of long hair is worth the trouble. At my age, I still have a lot of my hair and it gives me a youthful look. So I say, keep it and grow it. It’s a very fun experiment to try out for the man who’s willing to try new things in his life. If anything, growing out your hair long as a man tells everyone that you’re ambitious in wanting to explore yourself. If you think that you can pull off long hair, I say do it. I did and it looks awesome.

Ponytail? On A Guy Like Me?

My long hair in a ponytail

I’m sporting a ponytail, when your hair gets long enough you can do it.

I’ve done ponytails, which the look, I think that I can pull it off. The only thing really about the ponytail is that the hairband is pulling on my hair to keep it tightly in a ponytail. I can feel the tension and stress on my hair to my head. So I’m sort of wondering how long I should keep my hair in a ponytail. I just leave my hair in a ponytail for a short but until the tension of the tight hairband against my hair gets to me. Then I have to take off the hairband and just let my hair down and breathe. It’s fun to do the ponytail every now and then just to see how much more awesome it looks as your lovely locks continue to grow. First, I started growing out my facial hair then followed the head hair. Being a hairy man is great right? Why not do both. If it feels good, do it. Your happiness is dependent on your willing to live life as you want it. Honestly,  that should be the point of your life, the pursuit of happiness. You will be more productive and contribute more to society when you do these things that give your life meaning and worth. For me, hair is something that I’ve grown to love about myself. I have lots of passions in life. My hair is just one of those things on the list.
